Danny Stone
Lead Pastor & Elected Elder

After growing up on the family farm in central Washington, Danny graduated from Northwest University in 1980 with a degree in Religion & Philosophy and minors in History & Pastoral Counseling. He joined the staff of Addy New Life Christian Center as a youth pastor in 1980 and was appointed Senior Pastor in 1989. Danny has been involved in teaching overseas since 1997 in both Ukraine and Zambia. Leah has also served actively in missions for almost two decades in both India and Papua New Guinea. Leah has worked in a variety of vocational fields such as a city clerk, a police information specialist, and an executive assistant to a middle school principal. She grew up mainly in the Longview area with much time spent on her grandparents’ farm.

Leah enjoys cooking, gardening and has studied medical missions as part of her work in overseas mission work. Danny enjoys music and sports. He’s a long-time worship leader & teacher and also has coached high school sports for nearly 30 years since college graduation. Together, Danny & Leah have 6 children and 8 grandchildren and love spending time with them in a wide variety of activities.

In 2009, Danny and his late wife were led to leave NLCC and moved back to Danny’s home town where he began to manage the family farm. In 2020 Danny was elected to serve as a county commissioner in Grant County. In 2023, he began to assist Clayton Community church as an interim pastor while the church searched for a new Senior Pastor. The leadership of the church began to urge him to consider accepting the position of the pastor of the church and he prayerfully began to do just that.

In 2022, Danny’s first wife passed away after a long illness. In 2023 he was blessed to meet Leah at a good friend’s church. Six months later, they began to spend time together and love blossomed. Eleven months later they were married and the next day, Clayton Community Church voted to ask them to join the church with Danny as Senior Pastor. It had been a matter of prayer for both of them for some time and they immediately decided to accept. When Danny finished his term as a commissioner, the Stone’s moved to Stevens County to join the ministry here.

The Stone’s deeply desire to be a blessing to Clayton Community Church and the surrounding, local community. Discipling the family of God and displaying the abundant life that His children can experience and grow in is a primary desire on each of their hearts. They are excited to learn and grow with this fellowship in the coming years.

Brad Coe
Elected Elder

My wife Kari and I have been married for over 23 years and have been blessed with four children:  Grace, Isaiah, Alyson, and Amber.  Both of us have lived in the area our entire lives, Kari grew up in Spokane and I grew up in Loon Lake.  For the first 20 years of our marriage we lived in the Loon Lake area, but in 2021 moved to the Deer Park area and is where we currently live.

While we have attended several churches over the course of our marriage, we have been serving at Clayton Community Church for about a decade and feel truly blessed to be a part of this church family.  We simply want to be obedient to the will of God and be instruments that He can use to build, bless, encourage, disciple, and love His people.

Jared Lofstrom
Elected Elder

We’ve been part of the Deer Park community our whole lives and love seeing people grow in their faith and dig into God’s Word. It’s our heart to walk alongside others as they pursue spiritual maturity and a deeper relationship with Jesus.

Whether we’re out on the trails, around a campfire, or catching a game, we love finding simple ways to enjoy life and connect with others.
